No. 15 Men's Squash Opens CSA Championship Weekend with 7-2 Win Over No. 18 Amherst

PHILADELPHIA, Pa.- The No. 15 Franklin & Marshall men's squash team (14-6) opened the College Squash Association Divisional Team Championships with a 7-2 victory over No. 18 Amherst (11-4) to open the Hoehn Cup on Friday night. 

The Diplomats swept their opponents in the top-four matchups with 3-0 victories for Kyle Broadhurst (No. 1), Sharan Punjabi (No. 2), Marco DiFilippo (No. 3), and Jordan Sprecher (No. 4). Punjabi and Sprecher earned their 13th wins in 2024-25. It's the 12th of the year for DiFilippo and the tenth for Broadhurst.

Aditya Chandani (No. 5), Alexander Arader (No. 6), and Sam Freed (No. 7) each won 3-1. Chandani moved his win total to a team-best 17, while it's the 15th victory for Freed and 13th for Arader.

The Diplomats will face No. 19 Middlebury on Saturday, March 1, at 6:00 p.m. in the Semifinal round.
