LANCASTER, Pa. – The No. 15 Franklin & Marshall men's squash team (7-6) was held off by No. 20 Navy (16-8) in a 5-4 loss Saturday evening during the second day of the Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference (MASC) Championships. The Diplomats battled throughout the contest with the deciding match coming from the No. 1 slot. However, Navy's Matthew Wang defeated Kyle Broadhurst, 3-1, to secure the win for the Midshipmen.

Aditya Chandani cruised in his match in the No. 5 slot as he swept his opponent, 3-0. With the win, Chandani now has eight individual wins this year. Jordan Sprecher (No. 4) and Sam Freed (No. 7) swept their respective opponents to each improve to six individual wins this season. Noah Katzer kept his opponent off the scoreboard with a 3-0 sweep in the No. 7 match to claim his third individual victory this winter.

Franklin & Marshall wraps up the MASC Championships on Sunday, hosting No. 27 Dickinson at 2:00 p.m.
