LANCASTER, Pa. – The No. 15 Franklin & Marshall men's squash team (8-6) placed fifth at the Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference Championships with a 7-2 victory over No. 27 Dickinson (3-16) Sunday afternoon.
Dickinson won the top two matches of the day, but F&M took control of the competition after that.
Aditya Chandani swept his opponent in the No. 3 slot to pick up his ninth individual-win of the season.
Sam Freed (No. 5) and
Evann Tan (No. 7) downed their respective opponents to each earn their seventh win of the year. Freed swept his opponent, 3-0, while Tan won his match, 3-1.
Alexander Arader swept his opponent In the No. 4 match to earn his sixth individual-victory this winter.
Noah Katzer notched a 3-0 sweep in the No. 6 slot for his fourth individual-win of the year.
Akshat Agarwal (No. 8) and
Hunar Kohli (No. 9) rounded out the Diplomats in the bottom-two matches for their third individual-wins this season. Agarwal earned a 3-0 sweep, while Kohli outlasted his opponent, 3-2.
No. 15 Franklin & Marshall now heads to Maine, taking on Colby on Friday at 5:00 p.m.
