GREENWOOD, Ind.- Franklin & Marshall softball's Charlotte Dwyer, Alexa Klepper, Ainsley McClure, and Jaden Spigner were named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team® for Division III. The 2025 Academic All-District® Softball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the diamond and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 17, 2025.
Charlotte Dwyer adds to her accolades by becoming a first-time member of the Academic All-District® Softball Team. She is also a two-time NFCA Scholar-Athlete, three-time representative on the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll, one-time Academic All-Centennial student athlete, and one-time All-Centennial Conference player on the second team. This year, she posted a 4.37 ERA across 13 starts, posting a season-high nine strikeouts in her win against McDaniel.
Alexa Klepper was also named to the Academic All-District® Softball Team. She was previously a one-time NFCA Scholar-Athlete and has been on the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll three times. She has also earned a spot on All-Centennial Conference teams twice and was named to the NFCA All-Region V team once. This season, she led Centennial Conference players in OPS (1.175) while ranking second in batting average (.464), on-base percentage (.505), and slugging percentage (.670), tied for sixth in doubles (11), and tied for fifth in triples (3).
Two-time Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll member Ainsley McClure became a first-time member of the Academic All-District® Softball Team. This season, she pitched to a 2.55 ERA in 14 appearances and 60.1 innings of service. She recorded a 3-4 record with 51 strikeouts. Among qualifying Centennial Conference players, she ranked fourth in ERA, eighth in strikeouts, and tied for eighth in looking strikeouts (15).
Jaden Spigner earned an Academic All-District® Softball Team place for the first time this season. She also is a three-time member of the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll and is a one-time NFCA Scholar-Athlete. This year, she hit .314/.362/.488 with 27 hits, nine doubles, two homers, 13 RBI, 14 runs scored, seven walks, one sacrifice fly, and one sacrifice bunt.
