No. 17 Men's Squash Dispatches No. 19 Rochester, 7-2

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The No. 17 Franklin & Marshall men's squash team (6-5) earned its first win of 2026 as it overpowered No. 19 Rochester (2-5), 7-2, on the road Friday evening. The Diplomats jumped out to an early lead, claiming wins in the top-five individual matches to get back into the win column.

Kyle Broadhurst (No. 2) cruised to a 3-0 sweep over his opponent to improve to eight individual wins this year. Sharan Punjabi defeated his opponent in the No. 1 match as he won the final two games to earn a 3-1 victory. Aditya Chandani controlled his matchup by sweeping his opponent, 3-0, in the No. 3 slot. Both Punjabi and Chandani elevated to seven wins each so far this winter.

Noah Katzer swept past his opponent, 3-0, in the No. 5 match to claim his sixth individual win this year. Akshat Agarwal also earned a 3-0 sweep in the No. 7 slot to continue F&M's momentum. Toby Clegg-Petri came out on top of a five-game thriller in the No. 4 match. Trailing 2-0, Clegg-Petri won the final three games, 11-1, 11-6, 11-4, to take the victory. Both Agarwal and Clegg-Petri claimed their fifth-individual wins of the season during their respective victories. Teerth Jilka wrapped up the Diplomats' victory by earning a 3-2 win in the No. 9 match. Down 2-1, Jilka won the final two games, 11-8, 11-4, to record his fourth individual victory of the year.

No. 17 Franklin & Marshall looks to build on its momentum when it travels to play No. 29 St. Lawrence on Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
