Men's Swimming Drops Dual Meet at No. 22 Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md.- The Franklin & Marshall men's swimming team (4-4, 3-2 Centennial Conference) continued their three-meet weekend with a 212-49 loss at No. 22 Salisbury (4-2, 1-1 NJAC) on Saturday afternoon. 

F&M earned seven top-three finishes against the Seagulls with the best result coming from Ben Lockey's silver in the 50 freestyle.

 F&M claimed their place in both relay races. Lockey, Thomas Smolinski, Riley Williams, and Ethan Ferris were third in the 200 freestyle relay, while Nick Lowell, Patrick Rooney, Williams, and Smolinski claimed bronze in the 200 medley relay.

Lowell was third in the 100 backstroke, while Rooney finished in third place in the 200 breaststroke. In the individual butterfly events, Williams claimed third place in the 100 butterfly while Matthew Tilghman was third in the 200 butterfly. 

The Diplomats host Elizabethtown and celebrate Senior Day on Sunday, January 18, at 1:00 p.m.
