CANTON, N.Y. – The No. 17 Franklin & Marshall men's squash team (7-5) earned its second win in a row as it defeated No. 29 St. Lawrence (3-4), 8-1, Saturday afternoon. The Diplomats cruised past the Saints, sweeping five individual matches on the day.
Kyle Broadhurst rolled through the No. 2 match for a 3-0 sweep to claim his team-leading ninth individual victory of the season.
Aditya Chandani also overpowered his opponent for a 3-0 sweep in the No. 3 match for his eighth win of the year.
Sharan Punjabi won the final two games of the No. 1 match to secure a 3-1 victory for his eighth victory this winter.
Toby Clegg-Petri (No. 4) and
Dean Vahlsing (No. 7) both tallied sweeps in their respective matches as both Diplomats improve to six wins this season.
Akshat Agarwal closed out a 3-1 victory in the No. 6 match for his sixth individual win of the season as well.
Eeshan Sawant downed his opponent in a 3-0 sweep in the No. 9 slot to earn his fifth victory this year.
Teerth Jilka won three-straight games in the No. 8 contest to win, 3-1, and pick up his fourth victory of the season.
Hunar Kohli blanked his opponent in the exhibition match for a 3-0 sweep to wrap up the day for F&M.
No. 17 Franklin & Marshall looks to continue rolling on Sunday as it travels to play No. 32 Hobart at 11:00 a.m.
