SALISBURY, Md.- The Franklin & Marshall women's swimming team lost Saturday's dual meet at No. 24 Salisbury (4-2, 2-0 NJAC), 186-76, at the Maggs Physical Activities Center Swimming Pool. The Diplomats secured three event wins and 12 top-three finishes. 

F&M earned two event wins in individual freestyle events, as Madi Bickford won the 50 freestyle and Delphine Brown claimed the 200 freestyle victory. Kala Zingle won the 100 backstroke alongside a third-place finish in the 200 backstroke. Bickford and Brown each had one other top-three finish, as Bickford was second in the 100 freestyle and Brown earned second in the 200 backstroke. 

The 200 freestyle relay team of Bickford, Grace Kovach, Zingle, and Brown finished in second place, while the 200 medley relay team that featured Zingle, Samantha Taylor, Janelle King, and Bickford claimed third place.

Taylor earned bronze in two individual events including the 200 IM and 200 breaststroke. Kovach was third in the 100 freestyle, while Maddie Mealey finished in third place in the 100 butterfly. 

F&M concludes the weekend against Elizabethtown, hosting Senior Day on Sunday, January 18, at 1:00 p.m.
