LANCASTER, Pa.- The Franklin & Marshall women's swimming team (3-5, 2-3 Centennial Conference) earned a 176-66 Senior Day dual-meet victory over Elizabethtown (4-5, 2-3 Landmark Conference) on Sunday afternoon at the Kunkel Aquatic Center. The Diplomats won 12 events with 27 top-three results. 

The Diplomats were victorious in both relay events. Madi Bickford, Matti Harvey, Delphine Brown, and Kathy Peitz-Diaz won the 200 freestyle relay, while Kala Zingle, Riley Reader, Emily Albert, and Bickford earned the win in the 200 medley relay.

Bickford and Caitlin Barr tied for the most individual event victories with two apiece. Bickford won the 50 freestyle followed by Grace Kovach in second place, while she also earned the victory in the 100 yard freestyle with Brown and Harvey completing a sweep of the top-three positions.

Barr earned wins in the 100 backstroke and 50 butterfly. In the 100 backstroke, she was followed by Janelle King and Eliza Emmet, while Kovach and Abbey Schofield completed the top three in the 50 butterfly. 

F&M earned the top three spots in the 50 backstroke, as Zingle won the event with Ava Tseng in second place and Emmet in third place. 

F&M won both distance freestyle events, as Tsneg won the 500 freestyle and Peitz-Diaz earned the 1000 freestyle victory. 

Brown earned gold in the 200 freestyle with Eliza Craw in second place. 

King won the 100 butterfly with Maddie Mealey and Schofield completed the top-three spots. 

Samantha Taylor claimed first place in the 100 IM, while she also finished in second place in the 50 breaststroke followed by Reader in third place. Reader was also second in the 100 breaststroke. 

The Diplomats conclude dual meet action by hosting Division II Millersville on Friday, January 23, at 5:00 p.m.
