NEW YORK, N.Y. – Two members of the Franklin & Marshall men's squash team began competition in the College Squash Association (CSA) Individual National Championships Friday afternoon.
Kyle Broadhurst made his fourth-consecutive appearance, while
Sharan Punjabi appeared for the third-straight year at nationals.

Kyle Broadhurst - Pool Trophy – Round of 64
Broadhurst was defeated in his first match of the tournament, 3-1, to Columbia's Shaurya Bawa. After dropping the first game, 11-6, Broadhurst battled back to tie the match with a 13-11 victory in the second game. However, Bawa held off the Diplomat in the final two games, 11-8, 11-9, to claim the match victory.

Sharan Punjabi - Pool Trophy – Round of 64
Punjabi was defeated in his first match of the weekend, 3-0, to Harvard's Christian Capella. Punjabi fought throughout the match, but couldn't catch his opponent as he narrowly lost, 11-9, in the final game.

Both Broadhurst and Punjabi will continue through the consolation brackets on Saturday. Broadhurst plays his first consolation match at 10:50 a.m., followed by Punjabi's match at 11:40 a.m.
