LANCASTER, Pa.- The Franklin & Marshall men's swimming team opened the 2026-27 season with Saturday's Centennial Conference Quad Meet from the Kunkel Aquatic Center against Dickinson, #24 Swarthmore, and Ursinus.
Justin Ma led the way for F&M in his collegiate debut with two events wins in the 200 freestyle and 500 freestyle, while F&M beat Dickinson in team scoring.
Individual and Relay Results
Justin Ma starred in his first collegiate dual meet, securing wins in the 200 freestyle and 500 freestyle. Notably, he finished ahead of defending 200 freestyle Centennial Conference Championship gold medalist Danny Castle from Swarthmore.Â
Luke Healey opened the year with a second-place result in the 100 breaststroke while earning bronze in the 200 breaststroke.
Matthew Tilghman was fourth in the 1000 freestyle, followed by
Edward Vonne in fifth. Tilghman was also fourth in the 200 butterfly, while
Jared Gallegos claimed fifth. Â
Nick Lowell was the fifth-place finisher in the 200 IM.Â
F&M's 200 medley relay "A" team of Lowell, Healey,
Riley Williams, and Ma earned third place, while the 400 freestyle relay "A" team of Ma, Williams,
Ryan Meledick, and
Noah Swetlishoff were fourth.Â
