No. 18 Men's Squash Defeated by No. 14 Navy

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – The No. 18 Franklin & Marshall men's squash team (8-7) was defeated on the road at No. 14 Navy (20-3), 6-3, in Wednesday evening's matchup. The Midshipmen won the bottom three matches to jump out to an early lead, and later secured the victory with wins in three of the top four bouts.

Kyle Broadhurst swept past his opponent in the No. 2 match, 11-7, 11-2, 11-2, to pick up his team-leading 13th individual victory of the season. Noah Katzer and Jamie Stait both won their respective matches in five games to advance to seven wins each this year. Katzer trailed 2-1, when the senior won the final two games of the No. 5 slot, 11-9, 11-7, to claim the victory in the match. Stait won the first two games of the No. 6 match, 11-8, 11-6, to take an early advantage. After his opponent took the third and fourth games, Stait earned the win in the fifth game to take the match victory.

No. 18 Franklin & Marshall now heads to Haverford on Saturday for a doubleheader. The Diplomats take on No. 25 Dickinson at 1:00 p.m., followed by a clash with the No. 30 Fords at 3:30 p.m.
