No. 19 Men's Squash Claims Victories Over No. 25 Dickinson & No. 30 Haverford

HAVERFORD, Pa. – The No. 19 Franklin & Marshall men's squash team (10-7) collected two victories Saturday afternoon to improve to 10 wins this season. The Diplomats eased past No. 25 Dickinson (8-9), 8-1, before notching a 7-2 win over No. 30 Haverford (4-10).

Kyle Broadhurst earned a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Dickinson in the No. 1 slot during his lone match of the day. Tied 2-2, Broadhurst won the fifth game, 11-9, to claim his 14th individual win of the season. Aditya Chandani tallied a 3-1 win in the No. 3 match against Dickinson and a 3-0 sweep in the No. 1 slot over Haverford to improve to 12 victories this year. Sharan Punjabi notched a 3-0 sweep in the No. 2 match against Dickinson to pick up his 10th win this winter.

Toby Clegg-Petri downed Haverford, 3-1, in the No. 2 match to claim his ninth win of the year. Noah Katzer, Jamie Stait, and Akshat Agarwal also moved to nine wins this season as all three Diplomats earned two wins on Saturday. Katzer swept the No. 5 match against Dickinson, 3-0, before beating Haverford, 3-1, in the No. 3 slot. Stait swept both of his matches, winning the No. 6 match against the Red Devils and No. 4 bout against the Fords. Agarwal also swept both his matches on the day, playing in the No. 7 slot against Dickinson and the No. 5 match against Haverford.

Teerth Jilka and Eeshan Sawant both claimed a pair of victories to improve to eight individual wins this winter. Jilka swept the No. 8 match against the Red Devils, before winning, 3-1, in the No. 6 slot against the Fords. Sawant swept Dickinson in the No. 9 match and later won the No. 7 match against Haverford, 3-1, to stay perfect on the day. Aryan Tibrawalla wrapped up competition for the Diplomats on Saturday, winning the exhibition match, 3-0, against Dickinson for his third win in the No. 10 match this season.

No. 19 Franklin & Marshall now gets set for the Mid-Atlantic Squash Conference (MASC) Championships, starting on Friday.
