No. 19 Men's Squash Upends No. 17 Middlebury, 6-3, in Hoehn Cup Consolation Final

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The No. 19 Franklin & Marshall men's squash team (14-10) ended the 2025-26 season in the win column as it defeated No. 17 Middlebury (10-10), 6-3, in the Hoehn Cup Consolation Final to wrap up the College Squash Association (CSA) Team National Championships. The Diplomats jumped in front early and didn't look back as they won four of the top five individual matches.

Kyle Broadhurst came out on top of a five-game thriller in the No. 1 slot. Tied 2-2, Broadhurst earned an 11-0 win in the fifth game to claim his 18th individual victory this winter. Aditya Chandani overpowered his opponent in the No. 3 match, 3-0, to improve to 17 wins this season. Sharan Punjabi swept past his opponent, 3-0, in the No. 2 slot for his 15th individual win this year. Toby Clegg-Petri finished off his first season at F&M by rallying past his matchup, 3-1, to collect his 12th win of the winter. Jamie Stait also finished his rookie campaign in the win column as he blanked his opponent, 3-0, in the No. 6 match for his 12th victory this season. Teerth Jilka held off his opponent in the No. 9 slot in five games to earn his 10th individual win of the year. Tied at 2-2, Jilka claimed an 11-7 win in the fifth game to secure the victory in the match.

Franklin & Marshall concludes its season with a 14-10 record, ending the year ranked No. 19 in the CSA men's varsity team rankings.
