CAMDEN, N.J.- The Franklin & Marshall men's rowing team concluded the spring 2026 season in the Varsity 4+ at the Dad Vail Regatta last Friday and Saturday.
F&M's Varsity 4+ crew featured, from bow to stern,
Jacob Ripperger,
Peter Kutscher,
Saul Schoenholtz,
Max Taxter, and
Mithayus Diaz as coxswain. The crew opened the weekend on Friday morning with time trials, setting seeding for Friday afternoon's semi-final races. The Diplomats posted the ninth-best finish in the time-trial at 7:00.783, before earning a fourth-place finish in the semi-final with a time of 7:07.010, beating a crew from Rollins.Â
In Saturday's Second Final, F&M bested crews from RIT and Iona to claim third place in 7:23.380.
"Across the board, racing at the Dad Vail regatta against teams F&M doesn't traditionally see and in line ups we don't regularly row, is great experience," said Head Coach
Bob Brady. "These sophomores worked hard all year and it was great to be able to race three times, put together strong performances, and beat some crews along the way."
