The Diplomats were eighth from ten competing crews in time trials, finishing in eighth place in 7:37.563. F&M claimed fifth in the semi-final race with a time of 8:04.650 to earn a spot in Saturday afternoon's Petite Final. "Racing at the Dad Vail is always a great opportunity to compete against various crews at the DIII level, as well as race in line ups we might not regularly put out on the water," said Head Coach
Bob Brady. "With an eight half full of novices, this was an amazing chance to race down the course three times and gain invaluable experience for everyone in the boat."
