LANCASTER, Pa. – Franklin & Marshall College head men's and women's rowing coach Bob Brady has announced his departure from the program. Hired in August of 2019, Brady concludes a successful seven-season tenure leading the Diplomats.

Under Brady's leadership, the Franklin & Marshall's men's and women's rowing programs produced 33 All-MARC selections and 50 student-athletes who earned MARC Academic Honor Roll recognition.

Brady made an immediate impact on the Franklin & Marshall rowing programs, leading the Diplomats to gold in the men's varsity four and women's novice four at the 2021 Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference (MARC) Championships. Brady and the Diplomats followed up that season with the men taking gold at the 2022 MARC Championships, earning the victory in 19 seconds.

The historic 2026 campaign served as a high point for the men's program, which earned its first-ever national ranking at No. 14 in the IRCA/IRA Coaches Poll. The men captured gold in the varsity eight at the Gifford Pinchot Sprints, before placing second in the varsity eight petite final at the MARC Championships.

The women's team enjoyed an equally impressive 2026 season, sweeping the varsity eight and novice four events at the Gifford Pinchot Sprints and capping off the year with a victory in the varsity eight petite final at the MARC Championships.
