Caplan Field is the home of Franklin & Marshall’s baseball team. The infield was laser-graded and top-dressed to improve the playing surface in 2020. The Diplomats’ diamond features a batting cage and a press box adjacent to the home dugout.
The dugouts were expanded in 2012 and new rails and padding were installed in 2018. Along the rightfield and leftfield fences are double-barrel bullpens for both the home and away teams.
A warning track was installed in 2017 and new windscreens featuring the Centennial Conference and Middle Atlantic Conference Championship banners along with NCAA appearances were added in 2020.
