Franklin & Marshall College

Dave Snyder joined the Franklin & Marshall softball coaching staff prior to the 2026 season. Snyder brings a wealth of experience in collegiate coaching as he previously spent eight years as an assistant coach with the baseball team at York (Pa.). His primary responsibilities have been working with the infielders and hitters.

Snyder began his coaching career as an assistant at Audubon High School in New Jersey. He went on to become the varsity head coach at St. Joseph’s High School in Hammonton, N.J. After St. Joseph's, Snyder became the head baseball coach for Camden County College. He then moved on to become an assistant baseball coach at Haddonfield High School in Haddonfield, N.J. Along the way, Snyder coached American Legion and various other teams.

Snyder has a daughter who was an Ivy League student-athlete and is now a pediatric nurse at Johns Hopkins. He lives in York, Pa. with his wife, Diane.
