Emily Eddowes joined Franklin & Marshall as an assistant coach before the start of the 2018 season. Eddowes previously served as the offensive coordinator for Elizabethtown College for the 2016-17 season, where she helped lead the team to an 11-5 record and an appearance in the conference semifinal. Her focus with the Diplomats has been on the offensive side of the ball as well as working with the goalies.
Eddowes, originally from Lancaster, completed her collegiate playing career in 2016 as a four-year starter for NCAA Division II Rollins College in Winter Park, Fla. As an attacker, she racked up 63 career points on 30 goals and 33 assists, while helping the Tars to a four-year record of 52-19. The Tars were the SSC runner-up in 2016 and made three NCAA tournament appearances (2013, 2015, 2016) during Eddowes' career.
Eddowes had her best season as a junior in 2015, scoring 13 goals and assisting on 12 more for 25 points as Rollins won the inaugural Sunshine State Conference (SSC) championship and qualified for the NCAA Division II Championship.
A local graduate of Penn Manor High School, Eddowes helped the Comets reach the District 3 semifinals and PIAA state tournament all four years. Eddowes was selected a two-time Lancaster-Lebanon League All-Star and a Section I All-Star, earning the honors in 2011 and 2012.
In addition to coaching at Franklin and Marshall, Eddowes is also a coach at the club level with Lanco Elite Lacrosse Club.
