Emma Hagg joined the Franklin & Marshall women’s lacrosse coaching staff for the 2026 season. Hagg was named an assistant coach for the Diplomats following a standout four-year playing career at Messiah where she was a two-time All-American and two-time Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Year. Hagg helped lead Messiah to three NCAA Tournament appearances during her playing career and was a four-time first-team all-conference selection. She as additionally honored as the MAC Commonwealth Rookie of the Year following the 2022 season. Hagg also excelled in the classroom as an Academic All-American and MAC Commonwealth Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

During her standout senior season, Hagg broke Messiah’s school record for caused turnovers in a single season (59) and ranked second all-time in ground balls during one year (72), while also being very prolific on the draw. Hagg owns Messiah’s career record for games played (77), games started (77), and caused turnovers (152), while ranking fourth in ground balls (193) and just outside of the top 10 in draw controls (135).

Hagg completed her undergraduate degree from Messiah in 2024 with a major in accounting and finance and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in strategic management. She is local to the area having grown up in Lititz, Pa. where she attended Manheim Township High School and has been helping coach the Xtreme Lacrosse club team since 2020.
