Schyler Ackerman joined the Franklin & Marshall women’s soccer coaching staff after her graduation from Kutztown University. Ackerman's first full season with the Diplomats saw the squad advance to the NCAA Tournament and Centennial Conference Championship match for the first time in program history.

A forward in her college career, Ackerman started 27 of her 58 collegiate appearances for the Bears. She made an immediate impact for Kutztown as the team advanced to the Division II National Championship match during her rookie campaign and made a total of three trips to the NCAA Tournament.

Ackerman graduated from Kutztown in 2020 with a degree in sport management. She earned recognition as a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Scholar-Athlete during her career and was also accepted into the 2020 NCAA Career in Sports Forum convention.

Growing up locally in Mountville, Pa., Ackerman attended nearby Hempfield High School where she also played for the PA Classics club team. She currently coaches with Soccer Shots and serves as an assistant coach at Lancaster Catholic High School in the spring along with her coaching position with the FC Ballyhoo Soccer Club. Schyler is the daughter of fellow F&M assistant coach Chris Ackerman.
