    Assistant Coach

Antonio Pelusi ’19, a three-time NCAA qualifier and three-time EIWA place winner, returned to the Franklin & Marshall wrestling team as an assistant coach for the 2022-23 season. Pelusi capped his career with the Diplomats with a career record of 85-54, placing him sixth in school history for total victories. Pelusi won at least 26 matches during each of the seasons in which he qualified to the NCAA Division I Championships. He placed fourth at the EIWA Championships as a senior, following back-to-back fifth place showings at the conference tournament in 2016 and 2018. During the 2017 season, he compiled a 30-12 record as a redshirt. Pelusi is one of just nine wrestlers who have advanced to the NCAA Division I Tournament at least three times in school history.

Pelusi spent the 2021-22 season as an assistant coach at Ursinus before joining the Diplomats’ staff. During his time with the Bears, Pelusi helped the team send one wrestler to the NCAA Championships as the team posted its highest regional finish since the 2015-16 season. Prior to joining the F&M wrestling team as an undergraduate, Pelusi starred at La Salle College High School where he was a four-time PIAA regional qualifier and a four-time first-team All-Catholic League selection. He posted a career mark of 144-40 in high school, including a 40-6 record and a sixth-place performance at the PIAA championships as a senior.
