Franklin & Marshall College

Avelyn Van Heyst joined the Franklin & Marshall softball team as an assistant coach for the 2027 season. Van Heyst recently completed her collegiate playing career at West Chester in 2026 where she helped the Golden Rams get to the NCAA Tournament. Playing in infield, Van Heyst began her playing career at Division I Buffalo University where she played in over 100 career games and made 87 career starts primarily at shortstop. Van Heyst is a native of Aaronsburg, Pa. where she attended Penns Valley High School.
