All-American and team captain Ben Lockey ’26 returned to his alma mater as an assistant coach during the 2026-27 academic year. Lockey competed in a number of different events for the Diplomats during his career, highlighted by helping the 200-yard freestyle relay to a 15th place finish and honorable mention All-America recognition at the 2024 NCAA Championships.

Lockey was additionally a four-time All-Centennial Conference selection in relays during his career, earning silver medals in the 200-yard medley relay, 200-yard freestyle relay, 400-yard medley relay, and 400-yard freestyle relay. Lockey graduated from Franklin & Marshall with a double major in economics and philosophy during. He earned academic recognition in the classroom as a three-time Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll selection, while twice being named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team.
