Franklin & Marshall College

Danny Blugis ’19 has returned to the Franklin & Marshall baseball team as an assistant coach for the 2027 season. A two-way player as both a catcher and pitcher during his time with the Diplomats, Blugis earn All-Centennial Conference recognition and ranks among the top players in program history in several statistical categories.

On the mound, Blugis is ranked second in school history in career saves (13) and is fourth in games finished (25) while being a part of three combined shutouts. Blugis additionally holds one of the top fielding percentages in program history and caught a program-record 32 runners stealing during his time behind the plate. Blugis graduated from Franklin & Marshall with a degree in government works full-time as a project manager with Core Human Factors.
