Catie Koenig joined the Diplomat Sports Medicine Staff in the fall of 2024 after spending  just over two years at Bloomfield College of Montclair State University. Koenig also worked as a part-time Athletic Trainer for the New York City Football Club. Catie earned her Doctorate of Athletic Training from Temple University in the fall of 2025. She is also a graduate of Rowan University where she received her Master’s Degree in Athletic Training.

Koenig will be working as the primary Athletic Trainer for Volleyball, Cross Country, Track & Field, Wrestling, and Baseball.  She is a member of the  National Athletic Training Association and a member of the Eastern Athletic Trainers’ Association. In her spare time, Catie enjoys refereeing soccer both at the collegiate and club levels.
