Erin McCormick ’20 returned to the Franklin & Marshall field hockey team as an assistant coach in 2022 following one of the most prolific careers in program history. A two-time Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Year, McCormick graduated as the program’s all-time leader in points (136), goals (56), game-winning goals (17), shots (430), and shots on goal (255),while ranking third in assists (24).

McCormick finished her career as a three-time All-American, earning first-team recognition during the 2017 and 2018 seasons when she was announced as the conference’s player of the year. The Diplomats made four consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances with McCormick leading the offense, including an appearance in the national championship match during her senior season and a trip to the Final Four in 2017.
