Jacob Robinson

Jacob Robinson came to the Franklin & Marshall women’s basketball team as an assistant coach prior to the 2024-25 season. Robinson joins the coaching staff after most recently serving as a graduate assistant coach at Truman State University where he helped the Bulldogs to a 20-10 record as the team earned the No. 3 seed in the Great Lake Valley Conference and advanced to the conference semifinals, in 2022-23. Robinson was instrumental in a number of facets of the program including opponent scouting, practice and game plans, along with coordinating individual workouts. He graduated from Truman State in the spring of 2024 with his master’s degree in leadership.

Robinson got his start in the collegiate basketball world during his undergraduate career at DePaul University where he was a practice player turned student assistant for the Division I women’s basketball team. He was responsible for assisting the coaching staff with drills and one-on-one workouts, while also helping with statistical breakdowns following the conclusion of each game. During his final season at DePaul, Robinson helped the Blue Demons return to the NCAA Tournament before graduating with honors that spring with his degree in sports communications.

In addition to his college coaching experience, Robinson has worked numerous AAU events and camps throughout the years, including PGC Basketball Camps. He additionally has extensive media experience as a broadcaster for a number of DePaul’s men’s and women’s basketball games and has served as the host and producer of “The Robinson Report.”
