Justin Grube was hired as the Diplomats' Director of Athletic Communications in July of 2021. In this role, Grube will lead the public relations efforts for the department's varsity sports, club, intramural, and wellness programs.

Grube brings over 10 years of professional experience to the Diplomats, including spending the last seven years as the Sports Information Director at Haverford College. He previously served as the Sports Information Director/Game Day Coordinator at Shawnee State University and was formerly an Athletic Communications Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania.

"Justin's commitment to the scholar-athlete and his passion for the promotion and publicity of the scholar-athlete experience immediately set him apart," said Packer Webster.  "I look forward to his collaboration with coaches and campus leaders to increase fan engagement, elevate the gameday experience and promote the outstanding achievements of our scholar-athletes."

While at Haverford, Grube oversaw the communication efforts for all 23 of Haverford's varsity athletic teams (including 18 which competed in the Centennial Conference). During that time, he led the promotional efforts for 38 All-Americans, two individual national champions, 25 Centennial Conference Players of the Year, 22 CC Scholar-Athletes of the Year, six NCAA Postgraduate Scholars, and five Academic All-Americans.

"I would like to thank Lauren and the entire search committee for this opportunity to join the F&M community. The athletic communications department at Franklin & Marshall certainly has a strong foundation in place and I look forward to promoting the continued excellence of F&M's scholar-athletes, coaches, and staff," stated Grube. "From my first interactions, I could immediately sense the pride that everybody takes in being a part of the Diplomat family. Franklin & Marshall certainly combines the best of academic and athletic excellence, and I look forward to telling these stories while continuing to highlight the athletic department as a point of pride for the entire College community."

In addition to the traditional roles associated with his position at Haverford, Grube took on increasing responsibilities both within the athletic department and across Division III. At Haverford, he was instrumental in creating a visual identity guide, served on the Hall of Achievement committee, and helped coordinate several athletic award banquets annually. Outside of those responsibilities, Grube serves as an NCAA Women's Tennis Regional Advisory Committee (RAC) member and volunteers on the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) Academic All-America committee.

A native of Denver, Pa., Grube obtained his bachelor of science degree in sport management, with a minor in communications, at Alvernia University.
