Matt Quattrone enters his fifth season on the Franklin & Marshall coaching staff during the 2026 season. He is in his fourth season as the offensive coordinator. The 2025 campaign was his best to date as the Diplomats won the Centennial Conference Championship and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history. For his part in that success, Quattrone was recognized as a part of the Centennial Conference Coaching Staff of the Year.

During the championship-winning 2025 season, Quattrone mentored Franklin & Marshall’s first-ever Gagliardi Trophy (Division III Heisman) semifinalist in Gary Lewis ’26 who was also named the Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Year following a season which he broke the school and conference record for touchdown receptions in a single season. Another Quattrone prodigy was quarterback Ty Tremba ’26 who broke several school records during his four years a starting quarterback. During Quattrone’s first year as offensive coordinator, Jack O'Hearen ’25 became the first F&M receiver in over decade to eclipse 1,000 yards in a single season.

Quattrone first joined the Diplomats’ coaching staff in 2022 where he spent one season as the defensive line coach and strength & conditioning coordinator before making the switch to the offensive side of the ball. In the weight room, the team's testing numbers and overall fitness continue to jump levels under Quattrone's guidance.

Even prior to being on F&M’s coaching staff, Quattrone had a vast knowledge of Centennial Conference football as he previously spent three seasons as an assistant coach at Dickinson where he worked with the cornerbacks. That came after a two-year stint at his alma mater, McDaniel College, after graduating from the Green Terror program in 2017.

Under Quattrone's guidance, Dickinson had one of the most opportunistic defenses in the Centennial Conference. The Red Devils picked off 13 passes in 2019 to rank second in the league and followed that up with 12 more this past fall. Quattrone was also instrumental in organizing the team's strength and conditioning efforts.

A certified strength & conditioning specialist by the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA), Quattrone got his start in college coaching as the S&C coach at McDaniel during the 2017 and 2018 seasons. He joined the Green Terror staff following a standout playing career at his alma mater where he recorded nearly 200 tackles while serving as a team captain for two seasons. In addition to his responsibilities building the team's fitness, Quattrone coached the defensive backs and outside linebackers, while also assisting on special teams.

Quattrone completed his undergraduate work in May 2017 with a B.S in exercise science and later received his M.S. in kinesiology during the spring of 2019.
