A two-time team captain and honorable mention All-Centennial Conference linebacker during his senior season, Owen Walsh '24 joined the Diplomats’ coaching staff in the spring of 2024. In just his second season on the staff, Walsh helped his alma mater win the 2025 Centennial Conference Championship and advance to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history. He was a part of the Centennial Conference Coaching Staff of the Year during that historic season with multiple players earning all-conference and all-region recognition from the linebacking corps.

During his playing career with the Diplomats, Walsh appeared in 30 games during his final three seasons and finished his career with 145 tackles, nine pass break ups, 2.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery. He set career highs in tackles (68), tackles for loss (5.5), and sacks (2.0) during his all-conference senior campaign where he was additionally named the MVP of the Centennial-MAC Bowl Series win against King’s (Pa.) to help the Diplomats finish that 2023 season with an 8-3 record. Walsh graduated from Franklin & Marshall with a degree in mathematics.
