Sean Moore was named the Diplomats' defensive line coach & special teams coordinator prior to the historic 2025 season where he helped lead the Diplomats to the Centennial Conference Championship and the program’s first NCAA Tournament appearance in program history. He mentored three first-team All-Centennial Conference selections on special teams while two defensive linemen were all-conference picks. Moore was also recognized as a member of the Centennial Conference Coaching Staff of the Year after making an immediate impact with the team.

Moore joined the Franklin & Marshall coaching staff after spending the 2024 season as the defensive line coach at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). Under Moore's leadership, RPI had three defensive linemen earn All-Liberty League honors. The defensive line led RPI to 22 total sacks and 55 tackles behind the line of scrimmage as opponents were held under 20 points per game.
Prior to his time at RPI, Moore spent the 2023 season at Wilkes University where he helped the Colonels to the Chesapeake Challenge Bowl Series. Two defensive linemen earned All-Landmark Conference honors for Wilkes that season, in addition to one D3football.com all-region selection.
Moore is a 2019 graduate of Hobart and William Smith Colleges with a bachelor's degree in media and society. A four-year member of the Hobart College football team as a defensive lineman, Moore was a second-team All-Liberty League defensive tackle during his senior season when he recorded 33 total tackles, 4.0 tackles-for-loss, and 1.0 sacks. Moore helped guide Hobart to the 2016 NCAA Tournament and was the team's Memorial Football Award recipient following his senior season for his sportsmanship, team play, and performance. Moore gained valuable leadership skills at Hobart as he served on the team's leadership council and worked as a strength & conditioning intern during his undergraduate career.
