LANCASTER, PA - Franklin & Marshall College forward Lindsey Mummert (So., New Oxford, PA/New Oxford) has been named the September 27 Centennial Conference Field Hockey Player of the Week.
She scored twice and recorded two assists in a 2-0 week for the seventh-ranks Diplomats as the team knocked off Villa Julie (9-0 W) and Haverford (3-1 W) to improve to 7-1, 1-0 in Centennial Conference play.

Against Villa Julie, she scored the opening goal of the game 52 seconds into the first half and later added an assist in the half to fuel the nine goal rout and up the team's home record to 3-0 on the year. At Haverford, Mummert scored the first goal of the game and assisted on a score with eight minutes remaining in the game as the Diplomats improved to 3-1 on the road.

On the year, Mummert has five goals and two assists for 12 points as she has raised her career total to 12 goals and three assists for 27 points.

Franklin & Marshall (7-1, 1-0 CC) will return to action on September 29 at home versus #3 ranked Ursinus College in Centennial Conference play. Game time is set for 4:30 p.m.
