MADISON, NJ - Eileen Keever (Jr., Prospect Park/Interboro) and Brittany Croll (Jr., Frankford, DE/Indian River) each scored two goals to lead Franklin & Marshall College to a 8-0 victory over DeSales University.
The Diplomats jumped on the board early in the first half as Lindsay Mohr (Sr., Pennsburg, PA/Upper Perkiomen) started the scoring off nine minutes into the game to give F&M a 1-0 lead. Less then a minute later Stacy Swymelar (Jr., Phoenixville, PA/Phoenixville) made it 2-0 as she used an assist from Keever to put the Diplomats up 2-0.
Franklin &Marshall would add three more goals in the half as Keever and Croll each connected on unassisted scores while Lauren Wasp (Fr., Potomac, MD/Georgetown Visitation) connected on a Swymelar assist.
F&M scored three more goals in the second half as Lindsey Mummert (So., New Oxford, PA/New Oxford) scored and Keever and Croll added their second goals of the game.
In the cage Michelle Altman (Jr., Trumbull, CT/Trumbull) made one save in 35 minutes while Lindsay Klimik (Jr., Brick, NJ/Brick) made four saves in 35 minutes.
The Diplomats will face host Drew University tomorrow at noon for the championship as Drew defeated Cabrini College.
