Box Score 2 GETTYSBURG, PA - Shannon Kiry allowed two hits in game one while Megan Pilarcik hit a home run in game two to help Gettysburg College sweep Franklin & Marshall in Centennial Conference 8-0 and 7-1 in softball action at Bobby Jones Field.
For the Bullets (23-4-1, 9-1 CC), Kiry went four innings, allowing no runs and striking out three while Jackie Pareso picked up her eighth straight win in the nightcap, recording six strikeouts.
Meghan Howlett pitched in relief in each game, going five innings with one run allowed and three strikeouts.
Sara Gutermuth went three-for-four with a run scored and two RBIs in the opener while Heather Sagaities went three-for-four with a run scored and an RBI in the nightcap.
Gettysburg recorded 13 hits in game one, scoring five runs in the first two innings to take the lead for good. The Bullets added two runs in the fourth and one in the sixth to take the win.

In game two, the Bullets scored pairs of runs in the second and third innings before adding a solo run in the fourth and a pair of runs in the sixth for a 7-1 victory.
Leading 7-0 in the top of the seventh inning, the Bullets surrendered a run as DePalma hit a triple to left center field and scored on a Bullets error with two outs for the Diplomats run.
Overall, DePalma finished the game three-for-four to lead the Diplomats as she finished the double-header four-for-seven.
Franklin & Marshall (4-24, 2-9 Centennial Conference) will continue the season on April 23 at home versus Swarthmore College in a double-header. Game time is set for 1:00 p.m.
