COLLEGEVILLE, PA - Setter Valerie Pusateri (Fr., Ellicott City, MD/Chapelgate Christian Academy) recorded 11 assists, 10 digs, three kills and two service aces to lead the Franklin & Marshall College women's volleyball team to a 3-1 (30-24, 24-30, 30-25, 30-13) victory at Ursinus College in Centennial Conference action.

Setter Jackie Skibbie (Sr., Darby, PA/Merion Mercy) added 10 assists, 12 digs and one service ace, while outside hitter Nicole Kushman (Jr., Chalfont, PA/CB West) chipped in seven service aces and seven digs to key the Diplomats (9-2, 3-1 Centennial Conference) to their ninth win of the season.

For Ursinus, Leah Rosin-Pritchard had 12 kills, 10 digs and four blocks, while Jill Alspach tallied 10 kills and nine digs and Melissa George finished with 32 assists.

Historically, the Diplomats' 9-2 record marks the best start to a season since the 2000 team opened the year 12-2 on the way to a 34-6 record, the Centennial Conference Championship and the NCAA "Sweet 16".

Franklin & Marshall will continue the season on October 1 at Washington & Lee University in a tri-match with Bridgewater College.
