LANCASTER, PA - Eight conference matches down, two to go.
Franklin & Marshall ran its Centennial Conference record to 8-0 Tuesday night with a 30-23, 39-37, 18-30, 30-24 win over Dickinson College in Lancaster.
Only two more conference matches remain on the schedule - Oct. 19th against Swarthmore and Oct. 25th versus Muhlenberg - both at home. With Tuesday's win, F&M remained in the driver's seat in conference play after beginning the year as the preseason No. 2 pick.
Against Dickinson, Margot Phelan came up big with 13 kills, 17 digs and two service aces. Maritza Fair contributed with 13 kills, four digs and two aces.
Others who stood out included Alexis Dansky (six kills, one solo block and five block assists) and Susan Taylor (14 kills and two aces).
