Box Score

Oct. 21, 2006

DICKINSON - Franklin & Marshall quarterback Kyle Turner - hurt shoulder and all - was 25-for-51 for 300 yards and two touchdowns Saturday. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough as Dickinson College rolled to a 28-14 win at Dickinson.

The Red Devils had a weapon of their own in running back Michael D'Amico, who rushed 21 times for 161 yards to lead the squad.

Dickinson scored first when quarterback Matt Torchia found Ryne Cantwell for a seven yard TD pass. F&M roared back, however, as Turner found Rick Dunlap for a 20-yard scoring strike to tie the score.

Dickinson answered with two more touchdowns before half; Torchia again found Cantwell, this time for 14 yards and the score, before Chris McInerney ran one in for 20 yards to make it 21-7 at the half.

The lead increased to 28-7 when Torchia threw another scoring strike - this one to McInerney for 10 yards.

F&M didn't quit; Turner hit Bobby Freiler for a six yard score to cap off the scoring.

Paul Sousa had a big day for the Dips, catching seven passes for 116 yards; his longest was a 37-yard completion.

Torchia was 19-of-30 for 214 yards for Dickinson.
