Incorvaia Leads Diplomats on 2006 Softball Spring Break Trip

LANCASTER, PA - Franklin & Marshall College finished 2-8 on the Diplomats 2006 Spring Break trip to Kissimmee, Florida for the Rebel Spring games.

Catcher Lauren Incorvaia (Fr., Manapalan, NY/St. John Vianney) led the Diplomats at the plate as she batted .519 (14-for-27) with three walks, five doubles, two home runs, 13 runs batted in and five runs scored with a .515 on base percentage as the team defeated Carthage College (9-1 W) and SUNY-Geneseo (8-5 W) and fell to Anderson College (9-5 L), Ohio Wesleyan University (14-0 L), Marietta College (7-1 L), SUNY-Cortland (2-1 L), UW-River Falls (4-0 L), Springfield College (8-0 L), UW-Lacrosse (9-5 L) and St. Norbert College (10-6 L).

Franklin & Marshall (2-10, 0-0 Centennial Conference) will continue the season on March 23 at Lebanon Valley College in a doubleheader.
