Despite outshooting York 18-4 in the first half and 21-9 overall, Franklin & Marshall's field hockey squad still came up short in a 1-0 loss to York College Wednesday afternoon at York.

The loss put the Dips at 0-4 and marked their third 1-0 loss on the season.

Still, the shooting barrage was a major positive as the F&M offense appeared to get untracked.

F&M has two more non-conference matches - they will face Mary Washington Sunday and Eastern Mennonite on the 20th - before facing eight straight ECAC opponents.
