HAVERFORD, Pa. - Sarah Meisenberg netted 16 points, including hitting 10 of 12 shots from the free-throw line, to lead Franklin & Marshall to a 68-57 victory at Haverford in Centennial Conference (CC) women's basketball action on Saturday.

Brittany Braxton and Miriam Marcis chipped in 15 and 10 points, respectively, for the Diplomats (5-10, 4-5 CC).

Brittany Lattisaw led all scorers with 19 points for the Fords (3-11, 2-7 CC).

Trailing 42-39 with 14:11 to play in the game, Braxton hit a layup to spark a 14-0 run over the next 4 minutes, 46 seconds to take control of the game at 53-42.

Haverford would get no closer than six the rest of the way.

In a first half marred with five ties and four lead changes, Franklin & Marshall netted the final four points of the first half to even the game at 29.

The Diplomats return to action on Tuesday at home against McDaniel. Game time is 7 p.m.
