A pair of Allison Biggs three-pointers served as bookends for a 23-4 run that powered McDaniel to a 71-49 win over Franklin & Marshall at the Mayser Center Tuesday evening. Eight different Green Terror (15-2, 9-1 CC) scored in the nine-minute run late in the first half. The Diplomats did not get closer than 11 the rest of the way.
Biggs, who hit two three-pointers in the same game for the first time in her career, was one of two Terror to score 13 points on the evening. Katy Powell was the other. Robbin Gregg and Heather Thompson each scored ten points for McDaniel.
McDaniel scored 33 points on 26 turnovers, yielding the Terror's 18-2 margin in fast break points.
Franklin & Marshall (5-11, 4-6 CC) got 11 points from Amanda Miceli and 10 more from Sarah Meisenberg. Brittany Braxton led all rebounders with 11.
With the loss, the Diplomats fall to 5-11 (4-6 CC), while McDaniel improves to 15-2 (9-1 CC). The Diplomats return to action on Thursday night in Allentown where F&M will travel to face Muhlenberg.
