LANCASTER, Pa. - Jessika Mancino connected with Eileen O'Reilly for the first three goals of the game, leading Franklin & Marshall past York 5-0 in non-conference field hockey action on Tuesday.

Mancino netted her first hat trick of the season and O'Reilly dished out a season-high three assists to help the Diplomats (11-5) avenge a 1-0 loss to the Spartans (6-13) last year.

Stolle Singleton added a goal and an assist in the win, while Tracie Hiatt increased her season defensive saves to eight with making two on the evening.

F&M wasted no time getting on the board with a goal just 1:03 into the game. Mancino tapped the ball in from the left corner off a pass from O'Reilly for an early 1-0 lead.

That same combination happened two more times to push the lead to 3-0. The duo of Mancino-O'Reilly found the back of the cage again at the 11:15 mark at in the 50th minute.

Just one minute, one second after the third goal, Brittany Carson scored her 10th of the season off a penalty corner thanks to an assist from Singleton.

Singleton then tallied the final ringer after collecting the rebound off a defensive save and then making her second shot count to make it 5-0.

Jennifer Burdo got four saves in the shut out and Claire Rekitzke made 13 stops in the loss.

F&M returns to action on Saturday at Swarthmore. Game time is 1 p.m.
