Pritchard Named DIII Player of the Week

LANCASTER, Pa. - Franklin & Marshall sophomore Attack, Jen Pritchard (Media, PA / Penncrest), was named the Division III Player of the Week by WomensLacrosse.com.

Pritchard helped the Diplomats beat a pair of ranked opponents this week (#14 Hamilton and #16 William Smith), pulling down 18 draw controls, 3 caused turnovers, 4 ground balls and 9 goals in wins over William Smith and Hamilton. The Diplomats have defeated nationally ranked opponents in four of its five wins this season.

Pritchard's selection as the Player of the Week marks the third time a Diplomat was recognized by the site this season. Blake Hargest (Cockeysville, MD / St. Paul's School for Girls) was named the Rookie of the Week and Kelly Cassels (Downingtown, PA / Great Valley) landed on the site's National Weekly Honor Roll back on March 6. Franklin & Marshall is currently 5-0, and ranked fifth in the nation in the latest Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association poll.
