LANCASTER, Pa. - Dickinson posted 25 hits in sweeping Franklin & Marshall in a Centennial Conference softball double-header Tuesday afternoon. The Red Devils won the opener 9-0 in a mercy-rule shortened contest, and followed that with an 8-2 win. The shutout in the opener was the sixth in a row for the Red Devils. Franklin & Marshall closes its season with a 9-25 (3-13 CC) mark, while Dickinson improved to 16-11 (9-5 CC).

Kaitlyn McDonald fueled the Devils' fire going 7-for-8 on the day. Her day started with a towering three-run shot to straightway center in the first inning of the opener. She batted in five runs in the first game, two more in the second, and scored three runs on the afternoon. The Diplomats weren't able to put her out until her eighth at bat, which came in the seventh inning of the second game, when she popped up to first base with two outs and bags jammed to the hilt with runners.

Allison Jordan limited the Diplomats to three hits in the opener. Lauren Incorvaia (Manalapan, NJ / St. John Vianney) accounted for two of them. Jordan fanned five in taking the opener, improving to 13-6 with the win. She made it 14-6 working all seven innings of the second game as well. She allowed two runs on six hits in the nightcap.

Morgan Marks (Titusville, NJ / The Pennington School) solo shot to leftfield accounted for half of the Diplomats offense. Robyn Jones went 2-for-3 in the second game. Jessica Feldman (Jackson, NJ / Jackson Memorial) ended Dickinson's shutout streak with a triple to open the second game. She crossed on an Incorvaia sacrifice fly.
