LANCASTER, Pa. - Kelly Cassels (Downingtown, PA / Great Valley) and Sarah Meisenberg (Severna Park, MD / Severn School) each scored three goals and assisted on another as #2 Franklin & Marshall cruised to a 16-6 win over #18 Ursinus on Saturday. The Diplomats exploded to a 10-0 lead in the first 22 minutes of the game, and took a 14-1 advantage into the half to improve to 11-0 (5-0 CC). Ursinus dropped to 7-4, (3-1 CC) with their first Centennial loss of the season.

All three of Meisenberg's goals came in the first half, with the first pair coming in the games first four minutes giving the home team an early 2-0 jump. Five different players scored the next six goals before Meisenberg closed her day in the goals column. She assisted on the next one, which was the first of Cassels' hat trick.

Shannon Summers (N. Wales, PA / Hill School) and Balke Hargest (Cockeysville, MD / SPSG) each recorded three assists for F&M. Hargest scored twice and Summers once. Lisa Clark was Ursinus' leading scorer. She posted a late game hat trick with three goals over the last 12 minutes.

Franklin & Marshall returns to action on Wednesday at Dickinson. That game gets underway in Carlisle at 5:00 p.m.
