Pamela Cassidy scored the go-ahead goal and Stolle Singleton added an insurance tally to lead No 19 Franklin & Marshall past Washington 4-2 in Centennial Conference field hockey action on Friday.
Jessika Mancino and Brittany Carson each netted a goal, while Eileen O'Reilly dished out two assists to help the Diplomats (6-1, 2-0 CC) earn their second conference win.
Mancino put F&M on the board at the 9:48 mark, when she stole a clearing attempt and blasted a shot from the middle and past Elena Nicholoff to make it 1-0.
Candace Gaull and Sarah Garber gave the Shorewomen (3-3, 0-2 CC) a 2-1 lead in the first half, each scoring a goal within eight minutes apart, but F&M was quick to respond and knotted the game at 2-all in the 29th minute.
Lauren Wendth and Lauren Wasp connected pass before Carson found the back of the cage at 28:25 to head into halftime with a tie game.
With 3:37 gone in the second half, Cassidy scored her team-leading eighth goal after taking a one-touch shot off a feed from O'Reilly to take a 3-2 edge with plenty of time left in the game.
O'Reilly then crossed the ball from the end line, finding Singleton wide open in the middle for a 4-2 lead that would stand.
The Diplomats' defense did not allow Washington to take a shot in the second half until the 68th minute and goalie Jennifer Burdo made three saves in the win.
F&M returns to action on Wednesday when they travel to Gettysburg. Game time is 4:30 p.m.
