LANCASTER, Pa. – Meghan McConville and Kristina Mercier
each posted 11 kills to lead Gettysburg to a 3-1 win over Franklin
& Marshall in Centennial Conference (CC) Volleyball action on
Wednesday. The win gave the Bullets sole possession of first place
in the Centennial with a 3-0 record in league play (10-9 overall),
while F&M suffered its first Centennial loss to drop to 2-1

Gettysburg raced out to a 2-0 lead, thanks in part to unforced
errors by F&M in the second game. The Diplomats held a
two-point lead, late in the game, but watched it slip away. F&M
mounted a comeback effort taking the fourth game, but the Bullets
jumped on the Diplomats early in the fourth to seal it up.

three matches.

offense throughout the evening, finishing the match with 37

kills and had six digs on the back-end.
The Diplomats are idle until next Wednesday when F&M hosts
McDaniel in CC action.
