YORK, Pa. – York freshman Sierra Dell registered nine
kills en route to posting a .389 attack percentage and came up with
three block assists to lead the Spartans (12-9) to a 3-0 win over
Franklin & Marshall Saturday afternoon. Game scores were:
27-25, 25-23, 25-19.
Franklin & Marshall (4-12) got a team-high, eight kills,
plus a solo and assisted block out of Nicole Morano in the
loss. Margot Phelan had a seven-kill, eight-dig performance.
Pam Horner contributed 10 assists and five digs.
The Diplomats struggled with unforced errors yielding 11 points
on service errors and 21 points on attack errors.
Franklin & Marshall returns to action on Wednesday against
McDaniel.
